Will I Ever Know?

How far does space go?
Does anybody know?

How far do I have to go until I Know?
Is there another place with green trees and people?
how far does the black empty space go?

Does it go for miles
like the highway?
does it get darker
like the inside of my eyelids?

Am I ever going to know if there something out there?
Or is just dark, cold, black spaces
with sparkling bright stars like a fresh cut diamond?

Am I ever going to know?
