Imagine yourself in school one day,
Dreading the return of that test from May.

You drag around school predicting for worse or for better,
When your fate will be determined by a single letter.

The time has come for the grade to be revealed,
And it’s an “A”; you can’t even express how you feel!

You are bursting with happiness and jumping for joy,
You cannot conceal your smile, oh boy!

This grade has put you in a much better mood,
And to celebrate you splurge and get some food.

It’s funny how one letter can change everything,
From complete dread to making you want to sing!
