Terraformer

In the midst of rising tension,
down death will fly,
To destroy beyond comprehension,
from the dusty cinnabar sky,

Falling into the shifting sands
and blight stricken lands.
Even more will the particles obscure the Sun’s rays,
then spread across the planet in one day.

For a world already suffering
from pollution and global warming,
The warhead will bring the human race
almost to its ending.

There is no buffering
against the fallout transforming,
So prepare to brace
against the destruction descending.

When the all the ancient Spacehips
have again been found,
Take all with you on this trip
from Earth's tired ground.

Send your Spacehips to the Moon,
and find, at high noon,
In the Sea of Fertility,
the terraformer of the space hippies.

Return to the North Pole.
Bring to Terra a new soul.
Bid her old land "adieu",
and begin your lives anew.
