Few

Few understand what wisdom they have,
As it is concealed by their inability to find it.
Few reveal their own ideas
As they are thought to be wrong.
Few deny being unique.
Few understand that it is people like themselves
Who truly have profound beauty.
Few recognize that abilities are existing
Or that they’re inherent.
Few find the time to realize these talents
Or otherwise ignore them.
Few understand that I am as capable
Of being as significant as the next person
Yet solely show them deference.
Few have confidence in what I can do,
As they may not be right.
Few dig below the surface of the
Standard, afraid of being
Too concealed.
Few understand that living is the everyday;
And through life do not acknowledge
The current.
