Basket Races

Sitting at the top of the
Stairs, the anticipation building
Waiting with bated breath
My basket is secure
My body is secure
The slope looks treacherous
Leaning forward I get ready
To go, then
Flash....Speeding down the
Stairs, next thing I know
I'm at the bottom
Safe and sound.
