Lush Green Grass And Soft, Warm Sand

Imagine a small, private beach
With lush green grass and soft, warm sand
The pure, azure and turquoise water is just perfect with waves rolling in…
and out.
The sky is an amazing, forget-me-not blue,
With only a few soft clouds scattered across it.

–––––––

And you see a boy and a girl, not too old, and not too young,
Both beautiful, handsome and glamorous in their own way.
Enjoying this one-of-a-kind day, and taking full advantage of it.
They look so happy; to be able to spend time together, to be able to throw away their cares-
But it seems, it seems
There’s a certain sadness between them, something they both anticipate.
Are they forbidden? In the end, must they take their separate paths?

–––––––

It is nighttime now, and all is well.
You see those two lovebirds lying in the sand,
Vowing silently… to never, ever let go.
