The TV

The Television: Friend or foe?
It can really lead to
A tale of woe.
If you sit in front of it
You will watch a show,
And you’ll throw a fit
If someone interrupts.
And then you’ll watch another
And another
And another
Until you find it’s time to sleep.
You’ll lay in bed
Counting Seinfelds; not sheep.
The T.V. will take up exercise time,
And you will grow fat.
If it claims you as “mine,”
You’ll be blind as a bat.
