Jack Logan

Untitled

I wake up today
It was a weekend for play
I was going to have fun
There was much to be done

I leaped out of bed
Then I got fed
I rushed outside
To begin my ride

The sun had shine
The temperature was mighty fine
I ran to my swing
So I could jump off and fling

I called out my dog, Boo
Ewe, he just made a big poo,
I grabbed a tennis ball
He looked at it ready to maul

I pulled my arm back
The ball hit the wall with a thwack
Boo had been tricked
His attitude toward me was ticked

The sky is starting to cover
Clouds all over begin to hover
The sky opens with rain
I go into the house distraught
