Odes To The Nose + Others

Noses

nobody
likes their
nose.  some
are too thin
some are
too fat
many are
crooked and
 others  are flat. most
people  don’t like  their
noses but i like your
nose.

Roses

                         What
              smells            the
                best?              It’s not
       a         rose,            it’s your
   nose.          Nothing     can
     smell                         a
         rose               like
               your nose.
               Roses
                wilt
                 but
                   yo          ur
                     n        ose
                      n   ever
                      will

Prick

to
the
ground,
falls like
a petal, looks
like punch, but
tastes  like
metal.

Epitaph

It doesn’t
matter how you
live in the day or in
your home.  We all are
living with each other, but
we all  will  die  alone. It
doesn’t  matter how they
love  you,  when  at  last
the day is done. Although
many may surround you,
when you’re dead  you’ll
be   just  one.  It  doesn’t
matter   where  you  keep
them - in your hand or in your heart.
However close you hold them you will always die apart.

On my face

On my face
My nose sticks out too far.
I dislike my nose
Only slightly less
Than I dislike my chin.
