The Underdog

This game has been anticipated all season
Two undefeated teams squaring off was the reason
Everyone talked about how we couldn’t contain their speed
Then why at halftime did we have the lead?

Sure they were athletic and threw down dunks
But we ate up their press like it was free lunch
Late in the game we were up by ten
And it didn’t take long before we pulled out the win
We left the other team with devastated looks
This game was truly one for the books
