Attack

A difficult position to master.
Sticks flying all around me,
Like a swarm of bees,
Trying to punish and hurt me.
Bodies throwing me to the ground
With the desire to stop me
And release the ball from my grasp.
But I take this harassment
For that one shot on net,
And that one moment to shine,
To show that I am the attack man,
A warrior of the lacrosse field
And a force to be reckoned with.
