Metal Core

The music is played heavy and fierce.
My heart races and my ears carefully hear,
The distortion of the guitar releases the inner beast out,
The body grooves to the beat and rocks about,
But when the music wanes and ends,
The beast is forced to go back and wait again.
Though the beast is back in its cage,
The mind continues to rock to the beat,
Metal is always there, king of the world,
It's here to stay and is always a part of the core.
