I fall fast and free
Hitting
Metal roofs and windshields
A dull roar
Tap-tap-tap

Pink... pink... pink
Frozen tips glint
In the sun
Dripping clear
Pink... pink

Drip, drip-drip, drip-drip
Released from sky
To Earth I fall
Onto a child's tongue
Drip-drip, drip

Soft
Needs no noise
To coat
I am the winter's swan
On the tar rivers
Soft
