A Pleasure

It is
A pleasure
To watch her dive into
The cool, salty ocean
And let the water surround her.
The gentle waves
Carry away her worries
Leaving her with
Pure delight.
She comes up for air,
A smile
Projected across her face.
Her eyes are bright, reflecting
Bliss.
She swims, each stroke bringing more
Joy.
Each stroke strengthens the
Sun’s summer
Glow.
She slowly emerges from the ocean
Reluctant to leave
Its natural, buoyant high.
As she walks, she finds
New pleasure
On the beach.
With each step, her toes become buried in the
Soft, warm sand
Soothing
Her feet.
She lies on her towel,
Soaking in the
Warm rays of afternoon sun.
The comforting warmth
Lets her eyes slowly drift shut, bringing her
Into a world of
Dreams.
She is
A princess, lying on
A soft bed of feathers.
