Fighting against your will
You need a caffeine pill
One more hour, stay awake
All parts of your body tremble and shake
The light bulb burns impossibly bright
Helping you stay up all through the night
But your eyelids finally fall to a close
And you fall too, into a heavy doze

Nightmares about what isn't done
Being exhausted ruins the fun
You struggle to pull out of the snooze
You realize you're still wearing your shoes
Eyes suddenly snap open
You decide to give in

Put away your work
Take off your shoes
Sleep.
