The Way We Ride

My mates and I, we love to ride,
And that’s what we’ll do,
Till the day we die.
Some depict the way we ride,
To be quite hectic, on the wild side.

Mostly we bomb down the trail,
The wind in our ears, our brakes singing songs.
Sometimes something slips, or something goes wrong,
So we find ourselves sprawled out, our rides a few feet away,
And we all start laughing, and keep going all day.

We put ourselves at risk,
Just to feel the thrill.
The heart pumping, the adrenaline rush,
It’s what I do instead of poppin’ pills.

But my mates and I, we love to ride,
And that’s what we’ll do,
Till the day we die.
